More Disney 2008

I could look at Cinderella's castle all day long. I loved it. Magic Kingdom is so magical; forget about the rest of Disney!!!! The castle had so many lights for Christmas is was breathtaking.

Maggie received royal treatment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

I just love this picture of Meg watching Minnie sign her book!!!!

Lobby of Wilderness Lodge. The Christmas tree was amazing!!!!

Main Street in Magic Kingdom. Again I love the Christmas decorations!!!!!

Disney 2008

Our trip to Disney was wonderful. It is even more magical at Christmas time. It was a very memorable trip for our family.

Almost every picture we have with any characters Meg is looking at them never the camera. She was mesmorized with them all!!!!

Do you recognize these ladies? They played the part too. They asked Maggie if she was going to eat breakfast with Cinderella and we were the next morning so they warned her of her burnt toast!!!

Okay so the McGregor's love Mickey and Minnie!!!

December 28th

What a blessed time of the year!!! I am so grateful for so many things in my life I can't even begin to list all of them but one important one is the birth of our Savior. I am thankful for my church and the faith I can carry with me on a daily basis. I really think about this during this time "after" Christmas which is really the time that we Catholics begin to celebrate Christmas. I love how I am able to continue to celebrate Christmas after the 25th. It is only the beginning!!! Every day I take time to pray and think about the birth of Christ and think about Mary and try to imagine what she went through. I am a mom and I gave birth in a nice and clean hospital. What a strong, faithful, and wise woman!! I am happy to bring in a new year with a celebration of the Holy Mother and the Feast of the Ephiphany which is when the wisemen came to pay homage to Jesus.
Today in church we always celebrate the Holy Family after the 25th and I pray to be more like Mary every day. I pray for all mothers around the world and I cannot forget Joseph either. He was a faithful servent to God. I pray for all families around the world to be more like the Holy Family.

Winter Wonderland

Here is another video clip from the music program. Of course, I want you to watch Maggie but the little boy next to her is so funny!!!!!

Winter Wonderland

Listen to Maggie's class sing in their Christmas program. There is no question where these kids are from!!!! Ha Ha

Okay, I have to vent... I cannot believe that Graham Harrell was not invited to be an eligible candiate for the Heisman Trophy. It is bad enough we are not in a BCS bowl game as are Texas and OU and we all only have ONE loss but now this. I am giving up on any fairness that the BCS says they have to offer. Go Tech. Beat Ole Miss!!!!!
YIPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!! I am done with school!!! I have a break for a month. This is one of the perks of teaching at the university level. Now I am in packing mode for Disney.

Merry Christmas!!!!! Jennifer

Thanksgiving 2008

We went to Kyle's home place for Thanksgiving. We had lots of fun. Kyle hunted and Maggie got to go hunting for the first time. She loved it. This is a picture taken out of the deer stand on the farm Kyle grew up on it. The trees are just beautiful. I love fall!!!!!!

Maggie and Meg's favorite thing to do is ride the Gator on the farm. Meg always says, " I want to take a ride!" We forgot the camera or we would have taken pictures of the donkeys. Meg loves grandma's donkeys. One donkey is named Maggie and one is Meg.

We took our Christmas pictures in the field of wheat right behind Kyle's mom's house. It was so pretty and green. Also the background was pretty with the all the trees up on the hill.

Fun Times

This week at school it is College week. The kids got to choose their favorite school and decorate a penant and then wear their favorite t-shirt. Maggie choose the Red Raiders. Wherever did she get that idea? Hmmmmmmmm!!!!

After I had taken Maggie's picture, Meg said, "Mommy my turn!" So I took her picture doing her version of Guns Up!!!!

Maggie and Meg both had fun wrestling with Uncle Lee this weekend. He loves to play with them.

We made a trip to see Dodo for her birthday. We had fun singing happy birthday and blowing out the candles. Dodo actually bought trick candles by accident so it was really funny since the candles would not blow out!!!!

Halloween 2008

Maggie, Meg, and daddy enjoy carving the pumpkin.

Maggie was batgirl and Meg was a black kitty cat.

Our good friend Father Logan visits every year from California and he loves to go trick or treating with the girls and Kyle. He was very tired after walking around the neighborhood. He was falling asleep and the girls were just getting started!!!! They were both sampling some of their goodies.

Maggie's First Day of School at Central

Maggie was so excited about her first day of school. She loves her teacher and is doing really well.
