December 28th
What a blessed time of the year!!! I am so grateful for so many things in my life I can't even begin to list all of them but one important one is the birth of our Savior. I am thankful for my church and the faith I can carry with me on a daily basis. I really think about this during this time "after" Christmas which is really the time that we Catholics begin to celebrate Christmas. I love how I am able to continue to celebrate Christmas after the 25th. It is only the beginning!!! Every day I take time to pray and think about the birth of Christ and think about Mary and try to imagine what she went through. I am a mom and I gave birth in a nice and clean hospital. What a strong, faithful, and wise woman!! I am happy to bring in a new year with a celebration of the Holy Mother and the Feast of the Ephiphany which is when the wisemen came to pay homage to Jesus.
Today in church we always celebrate the Holy Family after the 25th and I pray to be more like Mary every day. I pray for all mothers around the world and I cannot forget Joseph either. He was a faithful servent to God. I pray for all families around the world to be more like the Holy Family.

Winter Wonderland
Here is another video clip from the music program. Of course, I want you to watch Maggie but the little boy next to her is so funny!!!!!
Winter Wonderland
Listen to Maggie's class sing in their Christmas program. There is no question where these kids are from!!!! Ha Ha
Okay, I have to vent... I cannot believe that Graham Harrell was not invited to be an eligible candiate for the Heisman Trophy. It is bad enough we are not in a BCS bowl game as are Texas and OU and we all only have ONE loss but now this. I am giving up on any fairness that the BCS says they have to offer. Go Tech. Beat Ole Miss!!!!!

Thanksgiving 2008
We took our Christmas pictures in the field of wheat right behind Kyle's mom's house. It was so pretty and green. Also the background was pretty with the all the trees up on the hill.

Texas Tech Game
Kyle and I went to Lubbock this weekend to see the Red Raiders play OSU. Wow, what a game. We did so well. We are such big fans of Tech and they are 10 - 0!!!! If we can get past OU in Norman we will be on our way to the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!! WRECK 'EM TECH!!!
Our friend Jim Hill from Oklahoma sat with us at the game and he even gave us the tickets. He was such a great sport!!!! Kyle does consulting with Southwest Dairy Farmers and Southwest was one of the corporate sponsors for the game. Thanks Jim!!!!
It was nice getting away and what a better place to go but to Lubbock and watch our beloved Red Raiders. Thursday, November 6, 2008

Halloween 2008
Maggie was batgirl and Meg was a black kitty cat.

Our good friend Father Logan visits every year from California and he loves to go trick or treating with the girls and Kyle. He was very tired after walking around the neighborhood. He was falling asleep and the girls were just getting started!!!! They were both sampling some of their goodies.
