We get to church and sit down in the second pew. Our good friends the Haschke's are sitting behind us and Sue leans up to say hi and pats Meg on the back. Sue is looking at Meg's Mickey Mouse and Meg says," look!"... She makes Mickey tee-tee with noises and then she makes him toot!! The whole front part of the church who saw and HEARD laughed. It was very hard to stop laughing and get serious.
I know that Jesus has a sense of humor!!! I sure hope so anyways!!!!
Meg is the funniest kid!!! What a great personality......

Meg is ready for church
Last Sunday we were all getting ready for church and I called Meg's name to get her to come out of her room. She didn't hear me so I went to her room and the picture shows what I found. She was ready for church. She had on her pretty dress, santa hat, three stuffed animals and her purse. It was so funny. I made a deal with her one stuffed animal and her purse. She was happy.

Camping
I had a great opportunity to go to Lubbock and spend some time with old friends so Kyle decided to take the girls camping, not in our Fifth wheel but in a tent. Well the rain kind of changed his plans from going to his home place at the farm, instead he went to our friends place out side of town about 20 miles towards Glen Rose.
The girls had a blast and he wore them out and this picture is proof. Maggie asked to take a nap. I don't think I have ever heard her say that in her life time.

How Kyle and I met
Kyle and I just celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary yesturday May 4th. I have to say we have a great story to share with friends, family and mostly our two beautiful daughters about how we met. It is definitely one of a kind. Who ever does not believe in love at first sight or fate then this story might change your mind....
Well it started in July of 1993. I am two years older than Kyle.. Yes I know!!! I was a mascot for Tarleton (the purple poo)... If you don't know what they are you disguise your identity until you graduate. Kyle comes to freshman orientation. At the orientation there is a live band and a dance. I sign up to go to the dance and promote school spirit. Well I get to the event and scan the crowd and find a really cute guy. I go up to him and his friend and mess with them. I dance with them and have lots of fun. I know what he looks like but he does not know what I look like. I have on a purple robe and mask......I walked away that night telling my Poo friends.."I am going to find that guy in August when school starts!!"
The next month goes by and it is a few days before the fall semester starts. I am a peer advisor which is a program that promotes community and school spirit with freshman. I was in front of the dining hall handing out my group cards and I run out... As soon as I am done, Kyle walks out of the dining hall. He passes by and I am going OMG it is that guy!!!! He smiles and keeps walking but turns around and is telling his friends something. I continue to see him throughout the day during the Peer Advising Activities. We just keep looking at each other and smiling. I feel like he knows me but I thinking he can't know me!!! I was covered up and I didn't talk to him in my normal voice.
That night I go out to Bostocks and well I have to say I was a little drunk. I am having fun with friends and dancing. All of a sudden I see Kyle!! He comes up and asks me to dance. So we are dancing and I ask him, "Do you know who I am?" He says, "Yes!" I say, "No, Do you know who I am?" He says, "Yes!"... One more time... I say, "NO, DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" He says, "YES I KNOW!!!"... We dance and have fun. Well the night is over and the bar closes and we part ways.
Two days later, I am going into the bar again but a different bar around 9:00 and Kyle walks out. I ask him why he is leaving and he says he doesn't know anyone. I tell him to go back in because I am coming in and I will introduce him to all my friends. We had a fun night and even went to a party after the bar.
He has to go home for the weekend and he breaks up with his GIRLFRIEND!!!! He called me Sunday night and asked me out on a date. We went on that date and the rest is history......
He proposed to me on March 17, 1995 in front of the dining hall where I was standing handing out my peer advising cards. Our Pine tree is still there but the dining hall was just knocked down.
Later, we dicussed how he knew it was me... He said, "It was your legs and perfume!!" It is still funny to think he knew it was me.
We have had a fabulous 13 years together. I look forward to many more. I am truly blessed to have Kyle in my life...... I am thankful that I was able to find my soul mate who had all the qualities I wanted in a husband.
