Speechless

For those of you who read my blog, I have to share what happened to me last week at work.......
I have an advisee that came by to get her summer and fall advising done and she was expressing how her husband was going to leave for Afganistan in August. We began a conversation about how he will be gone for a year. They have three children and the oldest is thirteen. He is a boy and he and his dad are best friends. Her husband's job is being on a convoy driving through the towns. If you watch the news then you will know why we both had tears in our eyes after she mentioned it.
I cannot imagine if Kyle was leaving for one year and not knowing what might or could happen. I told her she is was on my prayer list as well and her husband and children.... I am asking for those of you who read this blog to please pray for her too but not only her but all the servicemen and women and their families. Thank you.......Jen
